PBS
PBS outlined Hitler's stance on Jews and traces the origins of these feelings. A line from the website stated that, "Above all," he urged, "I charge the leaders of the nation and those under them to scrupulous observance of the laws of race and to merciless opposition to the universal poisoner of all peoples, international Jewry." This statement makes it clear that Hitler had a strong dislike of Jews. Another line from the text is, " For Hitler, Jews came to represent everything he despised and feared. They were responsible for Capitalism and Socialism, for Modernism in art, which Hitler hated, for pornography, for the anti-nationalism of the press, and for Hitler's own personal failures." Based on the information from the text, Hitler blamed the Jewish population in his early years for things such as new forms of art he did not approve of, capitalism, and socialism. He also blamed them for his shortcomings.
History Place
History was lacking in information on the topic but had a short bit of information towards it. One statement from the website is, "Not the military, in his mind, but the politicians back at home in Germany and primarily the Jews." This line statement implies that he blamed the Jewish community for the war dragging on and not winning the war.
Anne Frank
According to this site, Hitler used the Jews as a reason to blame all the bad things that had happened to Germany, regardless of whether they were the cause or not. sentence to support this is, "But by giving the Jews the blame Hitler created an enemy. Hitler said that all Germany’s problems had been caused by the Jews." It also claimed that it may have been due to the anti-semitism that was popular at the time of Hitler's youth. A statement to support this idea is, "He was Austrian and grew up in Vienna where the mayor was extremely anti-Semitic and where hatred of Jews was widespread. His hatred of Jews cannot be tied down to a specific event in his life, for example a Jewish childhood friend, as many children think."
